The famous beat author William Burroughs would often write stream of consciousness type fiction by utilising something called the cut up technique.

Burroughs would cut up novels, magazines and newspapers, until he had a pile of words and then reassemble them into sentences.

Most Code  is just an assembly of words and hence the cut up technique would be a good analogue for programming.

Junk is a game where scrum teams build and test 'sentences' which assemble into a 'story' which is the sprint goal.  Each 'Sprint' will add techniques via a retrospective to improve the quality of the next sprint goal.

This game is a good illustration of the positive powers of collaboration.

The Group will meet in the Scottish Widows wing at 6pm. For members who do not work at Aquila Heywood, please arrive at reception at 5.45pm to be escorted to the room in question.
