Tell a Friend About This EventTell a Friend

Traditional PMOs have, over time, often become focused on enforcing detailed process oversight in order to bring about standardization, compliance, transparency, and hopefully, improved delivery predictability and performance. However, the results over the years have been mixed. Certainly improvements have been made in process discipline and governance but sometimes at the expense of time, quality, customer responsiveness, and innovation.

And in speaking with business and IT executives, improvements in visibility and project delivery performance have shown some improvement but are nowhere where they need to be. And the IT community has in turn responded with more 'agile' approaches to delivery.
